SmilingAcross the nation, women sit quietly in lace collars, sipping china-cup faith from with their “sisters in the Lord.” Yet, when the china breaks or the collars get torn, women can find themsevles abandoned . . . and ashamed. In those hours, a different faith is needed, a belief birthed in the hearts of women—both in God’s Word and today’s world—as they share their stories.

Sistahfaith™

Sistah, a word used especially, but not exclusively, to describe women of color, means something more here. It’s the raw, real, relevant faith of women like Tamar and Dinah, women believing beyond boundaries, hoping past hurts. Women who’ve helped friends escape from abuse or made it out themselves. Readers of these compelling contemporary stories of women, once broken, now blessed will catch a glimpse of themselves—and of the Lord—that no china can reflect. They’ll see broken pieces passed through by a holy God.

Join us here at the Sistahfaith community as we begin to heal and to help, to uplift and be lifted up…to believe beyond boundaries with our Bible Sistahs. We are now accepting stories for Sistahfaith Book One: Tamar, Believing Beyond Shame. Click here to share your story.
